Boyson feels the advent of e-commerce is now bringing into sharp focus the need for consistency in customer handling around the world.
“The guy working from home with 10 trucks is still going to be looking out for the best possible deal. He’ll be making enquiries against the database and looking at all the competitors’ sites. He may see that he can get parts for a lower price in, say, the US. There will be a coming together of purchasing power even for small independents.
