If the global economy has put pressures on major corporations, it is natural that those corporations will respond by squeezing their own suppliers. Suppliers of professional services are often at the ‘sharp end’ of the supply chain, making it more difficult for them to absorb any slippage in terms of project costs or delivery.
It is therefore imperative they run a tight ship in terms of cost control, project management and resource management, whilst simultaneously managing their customers and meeting their requirements.
