Our latest survey of UK IT users finds more focus on information/content management – but also a greater appreciation of the problems involved. Pat Sweet reports.

But just how successful companies are at delivering such a wide range of information to staff is open to question, since many seem to lack the essential tools needed to do this efficiently.

While one-third (34%) are using a content management system to handle all the information and data within their enterprise, over half (54%) are not. Moreover, of those not currently employing such technology, three-quarters (75%) say they either have no plans to do so within the next two years, or do not know what will happen.
