Enterprise application integration is one of those subjects where, if you are not confused, it is probably because you haven’t had enough EAI ‘education’.
I for one find the range of products totally bewildering and am dismayed by the intensity of the hype.
So let’s go back to fundamentals. What is EAI for? And why would anyone want to integrate applications?
