For most people, the cinema is still a Friday night treat. But gone are the days when the cinema meant a trip to the local flea pit, complete with uncomfortable seats and popcorn filled floors. Today’s cinema experience now means premier seating with extra leg room, bar facilities, digital projection and IMAX screens.
Customer expectations have been raised and so have the stakes in the quest for attracting and retaining filmgoers.
The entertainment industry is all about service and today’s cinema is no longer a family-run affair, but part of an international corporation.
