In line with this, a quarter (26%) never build additional channels according to customer requirements, and only 14% make frequent additions.

Despite this, companies remain convinced that website design is a crucial factor in attracting customers, with half of our sample (50%) rating the design as ‘very important’, more than a third (34%) calling it ‘important’ and only 16% feeling that the design is ‘not at all important’ (Figure 4).
