In terms of data exchange, synchronisation is probably the most common form in m-CRM. This is because every PDA, Pocket PC, etc is pre-configured with synchronisation software: the user commonly performs synchronisation on demand when they require new data.
This form of m-CRM provides an additional overhead on network bandwidth. Just as it is hard to predict the amount of data that will be requested/transmitted at any one time, it is also difficult to administer due to the increase in software used on the mobile device.
