Greater precision in planning and agility to respond is becoming critical: time in which to react and recover is a luxury. Time compression also means the supply chain will increasingly march to the tune of ‘projects’, with the entire value chain being reconfigured and the facilities within it redesigned for each successive wave of new product introduction.
