Logica turns in uneven performance

Logica has announced a mainly solid set of interim results, with revenues up 19% to $858.3 million and pre-tax profits rising to $112.3 million, up 21% on last time. But it has hit problems in its European messaging systems sales.

Logica has seen fastest growth in the first half within the energy and utilities sector, up 31%, compared to only 12% in the hard-hit telecoms sector.
