Our latest survey finds many UK companies committed to collaborative web-based technologies as they constantly adjust their supply chains. Pat Sweet reports.

Tuning up the supply chain - Part 2 | Part 1 | Part 3

Only a small minority (12%) believe service levels do not add value to what they offer. In comparison, more than a third (36%) feel their service levels are what give them competitive edge, and 30% say they define the company.

The majority of the companies in our survey (62%) say they are re-engineering parts of the supply chain, rather than the whole. This indicates attempts to improve specific areas, rather than a move to wholesale replacement.
