Our latest survey finds many UK companies committed to collaborative web-based technologies as they constantly adjust their supply chains. Pat Sweet reports.

Tuning up the supply chain - Part 3 | Part 1 | Part 2

The majority of our sample (70%) view the web as being either ‘critical’ or ‘very critical’ in each of these areas – compared to 44% who feel the same about the influence of the web on time-to-market issues, and 24% who see it as equally critical in new product introduction and development.

In keeping with these views, the sample are making greater use of the web this year than last, but not to the extent we predicted at the time.
