There is an established market for pure enterprise application integration (EAI) products such as CrossWorlds and SeeBeyond. These products address the somewhat jaded ERP market and recognise that organisations are interested in making multiple ERP/best of breed solutions co-exist.

However, the vendors of supply chain visibility systems are now maturing and moving into the supply chain execution space as well. Products such as Cayenta, Descartes, Ecometry, G-Log and Yantra have significant logistics execution functionality as well as visibility and integration functionality. These products are set to mature further into highly capable web-based supply chain suites.
