Portals and web services lead online march - Part 3 | Part 1 | Part 2

In the future, use of online technology looks set to rise substantially. In two years’ time, for instance, 84% of those polled expect to be conducting both recruitment and customer service operations online, while 82% plan to handle procurement processing in this way. The proportion of companies intending to use the web for B2B marketing is set to double – up from 32% currently to a projected 66% within two years.

Not only are organisations making more use of online working, they are also doing so in a greater variety of ways. Virtually all (98%) say that customers can contact them via email on their corporate website, and 60% also offer a web forms facility.
