Q1: Goals.

A: In our area of spend management, people have a much clearer idea of how to use portals and web services to save their companies money. We have always advocated business benefit as the main driver for structuring activities and priorities, so that the biggest gains are made first. In areas such as e-procurement implementations, this governs what commodities and users to tackle, and in what sequence. This is a different and more structured approach than the experimentation which characterised earlier initiatives.
